Dirttamer%c2% Supreme V2400 Cordless Hand
Owned the DirtTamer “Deluxe” now for in regards to 4 or 5 years. Needed to replace the rechargeable battery once with regards to a year ago, but that is somewhat par for the course, considering that I use it virtually everyday in my office, and in the car. Suction power is pretty astounding for a cordless, and better than the Dust Buster I tried. Also, easy to clean, which is nice. While it won’t match the suction power of a plug-in-the-wall type vacuum, I think this is as good as it gets for a cordless.
Stands head and shoulders over the normal hand vac. We keep it by the fireplace for each and everyday use in the winter….for all the rug & hearth debris. outstanding power, pulls up everything, huge or small, has solid weight, utile tools tucked into it is dock. It doesn’t discharge air sideways when cleaning, returns to a dock for recharging and it is next employed utilized keep it flat on the floor right to the side of the woodbox). It’s a high 5.
We have an 8 year old V2100 model…and it’s great. Nearly daily use, never replaced the battery (which I see is lead-acid, not NiCd) which still holds a charge fine, and still a strong vacuum. But, the last few months it doesn’t reliably turn on. So, while I’ll most likely pull it aside to see whether or not I may fix it, I’m as well looking at their newer models. We had a Dirt Devil before the V2100, the DD was so useless I speedily gave it to a thrift store and picked the Dirt Tamer randomly…extremely pleased with its I wouldn’t look at another brand, and glad to see this quality hand-vac company is still making them. Engineering wins over marketing! American automobile companies will never perceive this.
Followup: Got the new model for house use, the old model with the wonky switch retired to the garage. The new model is even better: stronger vacuum, LED light, seems a small lighter, includes HEPA filter. Filterstream improved on an already swell hand vac.
Followup 2: at long last replaced the lead-acid battery in the old model with a new, alike battery from a local distinguishing trait store. It was easy to do, just remove such a outstanding deal of screws and unclip the battery leads. Now the old model works swell in the garage! So not a bad switch at all. Reinforces my prior opinion that this is a swell vac from a great company.
Absolutely love this product, in particular the wet/dry feature. It does a great job in the kitchen with all sorts of spills and works well on pet hair.
I got the FilterStream V2400 in December 2010 and love its With an active toddler I use this thing multiple times a day for after meal/snack clean-up or when we come back from play time exceptionally sandy or dirty. I have the charging station mounted on the wall in my kitchen and may without apparent effort grab it whenever it is needed. It is so much more comfortable to use the FS rather of dragging out my large upright all the time. I as well like how easy it is to clean and rinse out the mesh holder and foam filter. I attempt to clean it at least once a week since it only takes a few minutes.
I’m a bit sad with regards to the brief 8 minute run time at full suction, but other than as supposed or expected this thing is awesome.
The battery did conk out on us not so long ago not so long ago regarding 6 months), but FilterStream Customer Service got a new one out to us under warranty ASAP. Installing the new battery was fairly simple and it is charging for the next 24 hours as I type this.
I am so impressed with this mini vac that may be replaced with your typical upright heavy vacs. I bought directly from the vendor, ‘KillDirt’ who shipped this product speedily enough sufficient 4-5days, free shiping+$5 off Amazon price). After primary 24hr charging, the vacuum met my high expectation as other Amazon reviewers raved. I have a dog that sheds a lot and any individual can easily spot on my hard floors in my bedroom and living room. This super compact machine sucked right in regards to all hairs around floor and in addition picked up dirt so speedily saving my time. It is lightest on the market now in addition as cheap as any vacs can go but it does better job and is much quitter than those cost more than this powerhouse does. I can now finally throw away my DirDevil looks like the fist humongous computer ever built. I love my FilterStream so much and it makes me happy! I commend this to anyone who wants to save time, energy and who likes to save their back and arms in small apt/house.
I require to confess I had my doubts in regards to this product when ordering it but decisive to take the plunge & give it a try. I am so glad I did. This handy-dandy item is easy to operate, easy to clean & picks up debris in a jiffy & none of the debris falls back out of the cleaner. I can’t imagine my life before buying this machine. It turned out to be the most utile item I own & it certain beats having to get my full-sized vacuum out for quick pick-ups. This is an item each household should own. I am well-pleased with my buy & the only regret I have is that I hadn’t purchased it sooner. It arrived within the normal shipping time, was well-packaged & all the instructions & components were included. Even an extra filter was included. A very reliable merchandise
We purchased our primary DirtTamer four years ago. We employed it daily for quick cleanups around the house. It worked great for cleaning up messes left by a preschooler and baby around the house. The battery gave out on the original as well as some other components were starting to show their age. Decided to replace our DirtTamer. The new one looks and works just like the old one. Very satisfied with the DirtTamer.
I purchased this hand vac almost one year ago to replace a B & D that was worthless. This has the best of both worlds. Wet and Dry. I am getting ready to buy a second one to replace another old B & D upstairs in my house and will probably try the newer model out of curosity. Highly recommend this to all. It has great suction and the light makes it easy to see in dark corners. I use this at least once a day.
Happy Cleaning:-)
I was searching for the DirtTamer I already have (lower model, I guess, because it does not say Deluxe or Ultima) and have employed for at least 5 years now whether or not not longer. It has been amazing, and I would never buy another brand–most peculiarly Black & Decker, whose productions are universally horrible. I never lost battery power, and I never had to replace the battery. The only reason I want to replace it now is that it has developed a glitch–when I turn it off to save the battery and then try to turn it back on relatively soon, it won’t come on. If I wait a little while, it will be all right again and as strong as every It’s a little annoying but is still a great cleaner. I cant understand the negative reviews at all–unless the company has started downgrading its products recently.
